Description
The GM fuel system contains gas lines, fuel pump, the gas tank, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.GMs run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The gas system stores and provides where it’s vaporized fuel to the cylinders, combined with air and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press down on your GM’s gas pedal, then you control the amount of air and fuel the engine takes in. The pedal tell the valve air to let in while the computer controls amount of gas.
The mixed fuel is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited from the spark plug, making a clean burn that powers the GM.
Keeping the fuel in the vehicle clean is quite important.
Come in to have your old GM’s fuel filter eliminated and replaced with a new one that meets with your manufacturer’s recommendations.
